Hancock - Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Jason Bateman

There are hero's, there are superhero's & then there is our all American Hancock. Pissed & drunk with an attitude, Hancock is not your regular superhero, in the superhero sense that is. And with great power comes greater responsibility, but Hancock doesn't see it that way. To him his superpowers are a curse & all his good deeds lead to losses that the city feels they can do without.

The movie is a good concept at the start & it is quite entertaining to see Hancock(Will Smith) , a superhero with a bad hangover take on bad guys. The city doesn't like him & a PR guy(Jason Bateman) convinces Hancock that he needs a makeover. Now the wife of this PR guy(Charlize Theron) takes this movie onto a tangent that nobody would've imagined. And Hancock, while trying to sort out his public image is now caught up in trying to realize the very purpose of his existence.

The movie, although not sub-par is like 2 TV shows crammed into one. The special effects are dwarfed by the concept. I didn't mind spending the money on the movie but this is not some movie you need to go to the theater to watch, you can wait for the movie to come out on the DVD.
