Here's a application that I made for myself to learn the notes on the guitar fretboard. I got tired of writing notes on a fretboard image printed on a piece of paper to learn the notes, so I made this for myself. Usage:

• From the drop downs in the application click on the first drop-down to select the note you'd like to start with.
• From the second drop-down in the application select the scale or mode you want to learn.
• Click "Show Notes" to see all the notes in the scale or mode that you chose.
  • Notes in red are the root notes.
• Click on "Start" & the application will start to show you randomly selected notes from your choice of scale or mode.
  • You have to click on the right location on the fretboard & you'll be prompted for another note.
  • If you pick the wrong note, you'll be shown the note at that location, you'll still have to select the right note to proceed.
  • Once you've selected the correct note, you'll see a "X" at that location, which means that you cannot select that location again, till you've traversed the entire fretboard.
